Boiler Room is BOMB + Vin Diesel is in it, which just makes it hilarious

and District 9 was absolutely great

Equillibrium was alright, Bale is sick.

City of God = Amazing

Smartest Guys in the Room is Alright (check out The Yes Men Fix The World)

Beerfest and Running Scared werent that great, especially Running Scared, its way to drawn out, and the ending sucked (hockey scene was alright though.)

and rent the original Last House on the Left, much better

Boiler Room was based on a bunch of guys that my dad used to know when we lived in NY. I grew up with a kid whose dad is now serving time for doing a similar scam.

Did anyone else notice an all too familiar storyline between Eagle Eye and Echelon Conspiracy? I get this feeling there was a leaked script or something...

never heard of the latter

but Eagle Eye was awful

Actually, i think that the story line was too similar between Eagle Eye and I, Robot.

Shia LeBouf is in both movies
Both movies are about Technology out of control
Both movies involve an unknown enemy who ends up being a computer system

and thats it...it doesnt seem like alot, but both of those movies are so hollow that that's all they really are...

ugh.

shia sucks btw, just saying.

I really liked it. You actually get to see the aliens in this one, unlike *ahem*, most other alien movies. The Special FX in 2009 are getting insane.

I'm a fan of the Saw series. I do think they are getting to the point where they are trying way too hard now though. The last one was by far the worst for me. Kind of like Lost and Prison Break after the first 2 seasons.

It was supposed to end after six from the beginning.

Three wasn't that good to me. I really enjoyed 4 and 5 more actually. Six was alright. But they have to be careful with 7. Hopefully they'll end it with 8 or 9. They keep making them because each one grosses over 100 mill at the box office.
