need your thoughts here.
I ran across a couple solid acai/colon straight sale pages last night... any of you trying this yet? Think it will work?

It can work for sure. You just gotta write a good presell that gets the prospect ready to purchase when they hit the hard lander.
Oh and some major credibility too. Last edited by CPA; March 1st, 2010 at 06:29 PM. |

ha yea true.... i was just thinking about doing a fear farticle geared around how people are getting scammed, how the product is actually good and can help, but that buying in bulk is the way to go to not only save lots of money, but also not having to worry about 'getting scammed'...

I guess that will all come down to how good your copy is. If your using scare tactics along with how your product is so great, you need to have some credible, trustworthy sources scattered as well like the good old abc, nbc, blah blah blah stuff. Put it within your article though, not at the top like a regular lander. Pick some colors that are associated with 'comfort'. I would also suggest doing some kind of opt-in. Maybe you can create a discount code for shipping and then have them opt-in to receive it. That will boost conversions when they think they're getting a special deal. You can say something at the bottom of the article like:
"UPDATE: Great News! We've just managed to secure an exclusive discount code available only to our readers! The coupon expires March 31, 2010 so join our Newsletter NOW to get it while you still can!" Then when the 31st comes around, change it April and you can even change the "Great News" to "Offer Extended" for readers that might still be on the fence. Then it doesn't look like a fake site. The opt-ins are golden, you can sell them on colon products, ebooks, cj products, you name it.
